Maria Oliva Tulli
nasce a Cannara (Perugia) nel 1937.
Attratta sin da piccolissima dai grandi quadri nella sua casa, ed in seguito incoraggiata a dipingere dai genitori Fanny e Giacomo, inizia la propria produzione pittorica nel 1954, scoprendo una spontanea predisposizione all’utilizzo della tecnica ad olio che in tempi successivi si alterna con l’uso dei colori acrilici.
Parallelamente agli studi di Giurisprudenza (consegue la laurea nel 1962 all’Università di Perugia), prosegue in un cammino costante di Opere in prevalenza orientate ad un Astrattismo complesso e vibrante, qualora non siano soggetti a matrice Naturalistica, dove le geometrie e le prospettive finiscono comunque per frantumarsi.
Trasferitasi a Todi nel 1964, sceglie l’insegnamento della lingua francese nelle scuole statali medie e superiori umbre, sempre accompagnata dal desiderio di scoprire e perfezionare nuovi modi espressivi attraverso la Pittura, producendo Opere dove i soggetti stessi perdono le proprie connotazioni in cromatismi esasperati e geometrie impossibili. La vicinanza al mondo dei giovani la spinge a fondare nel 1977 il CENTRO STUDI DANZA CLASSICA E MODERNA a Todi, Scuola di Danza caratterizzata da insegnanti esclusivamente diplomati all’Accademia Nazionale di Danza in Roma, che negli anni a venire produrrà esecutivamente sue esposizioni nei Foyer dei Teatri, in occasione degli Spettacoli ufficiali. Diversi coreografi hanno utilizzato i suoi quadri come elementi figurativi di balletti contemporanei (il Centro è stato tra i primi in Umbria ad introdurre l’insegnamento della Tecnica Graham), affidandole ulteriori elementi scenografici da realizzare. Per dedicarsi ai propri figli, lascia la scuola statale nel 1979, partecipa a numerose mostre, comprese tre partecipazioni al PREMIO NAZIONALE DI PITTURA E POESIA “NUOVAERA” voluto da Enzo Serafini (dove nel 1984 e nel 1987 giunge finalista, mentre nel 1985 un suo quadro è II Opera Segnalata), intensifica le attività culturali ed artistiche della sua Scuola rifondandola nel 1995 con il nome di ARTE DANZA (che dirige ancora oggi) e realizza nel 1981 la sua prima Mostra Personale.
Per meriti artistici e di contenuto, le Autorità Comunali le consentono di esporre quaranta Opere nel 1999 e nel 2000, nell’ambito della MOSTRA MERCATO ANTIQUARIA D’ITALIA, nella Chiesa della Santissima Trinità a Todi.
Il 2001 segna l'ingresso della sua produzione pittorica sul Web, prima con PINACOTEQUE e successivamente con ARTEGIOVANE, grazie all'interessamento di Silvia Stagi, responsabile tecnico della gestione del Sito.
Seguono l'invito di Salvatore Contino ad esporre su ARTE E COMPUTER, comunità virtuale da lui gestita e incentrata sui rapporti tra Arte e Società, con l'album personale "OLTRE IL TEMPO", nel gennaio 2002 DIMENSIONE ARTE, Galleria Virtuale d'Arte Contemporanea diretta in Rete da Danilo Petrini ed ART ON LINE.
In esposizione presso la Galleria “IL PONTE” (ROMA), giunge finalista al IX CONCORSO INTERNAZIONALE DI PITTURA EUROPART - 5o TROFEO "REMO BRINDISI".
La prestigiosa Galleria australiana THE VOID espone una sua antologia tratta dalla collezione astratto-naturalistica intitolata "DREAMS".
Nel settembre 2003, la sua più recente Personale (“OLTRE IL TEMPO”, produzione 1965-2003), a Cannara e, nel Web, un invito dallo staff di MONTEROSSO CALABRO ad esporre alcune opere sul portale d’arte fondato da Giovanni Maio.
Maria Oliva Tulli is born to Cannara (Perugia) in 1937.

Moved to Todi in 1964, she chooses the instruction of the French language in the medium and advanced Umbrian schools, always accompanied from desire to discover and to perfect new ways express to you through the Painting, being produced Works where the same subjects forgiveness the own connotations in exasperated colours and impossible geometries. The approach to the world of the young people pushes she to found in 1977 the CENTRO STUDI DANZA CLASSICA E MODERNA to Todi, School of Dance characterized from teaching exclusively given a degree to the National Academy of Dance in Rome, than in the years to come it will executive produce its exposures in the Foyer of the Theatres, in occasion of the official Shows. Various choreographers have used its pictures as figurative elements of contemporary ballets (the School have been between first in the Umbria introducing the instruction of the Technique Graham), with other scene paintings to realize. For to devote oneself to the own sons, she leaves the state school in 1979, participates to numerous exhibitions, comprised three editions to the NATIONAL PRIZE OF PAINTING AND POETRY “NUOVAERA” from Enzo Serafini (where in 1984 and 1987 finalist reaches, while in 1985 a its picture is Second Marked Work), intensifies the cultural and artistic activities of her School be founding again the same with the new name ARTE DANZA (that she directs still today) and she realizes in 1981 its first Personal Exhibition.
For artistic merits and of content, the Communal Authorities concur to expose forty Works to them in 1999 and the 2000, in the within of the EXHIBITION MARKET ANTIQUARIANISM OF ITALY, in the Church of the Saintest Trinity to Todi.
The 2001 marks the income of its pictorial production on the Web, before with PINACOTEQUE and subsequently with ARTEGIOVANE, thanks to the interest of Silvia Stagi, technical responsible for the Site’s management.

Prestigious Australian Gallery THE VOID exposes one its anthology draft from the separate-naturalistic collection entitled "DREAMS".
Its more recent Personal Exhibition is “OLTRE IL TEMPO” – Production 1965-2003 (September 2003, 1/30) and, in the Web, the invite from the staff of MONTEROSSO CALABRO to expose some works on the w-site founded from Giovanni Maio.
