Born 5. November 1956 in Kempten / Southern Germany
1978 - 85 Study of History & Arthistory at Universities of Augsburg, Tübingen and Berlin. Magister Artium at University of Tübingen.
1988 Promotion im Fach Kunstgeschichte at University of Tübingen.
1989 Stipendiat des Landes Baden-Württemberg at Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte in München.
1991 – 93 Scientific volonteer at the Administration of the Berlin Palaces and Gardens.
1993 - 99 Lecturer at the Arthistoric Institut of Leipzig University.
2000 EDV - Fortbildungsmaßnahme (Medien- und Screendesign).
Since 2001 working solely as artist and author.
Artistic Education:
Several courses in different media at the Zeicheninstitut der Uni Tübingen and at Berliner Volkshochschulen (Handzeichnen, Radierung, Aktzeichnen, Vernis Mou, Siebdruck).
Summer 2003 Seminar with Prof. Ernst Fuchs in the oil-egg-tempera-mischtechnique
